BlackCelebrityGiving.com will celebrate it's 'One Year Anniversary' in the great city of New Orleans, Louisiana during the 2012 National Urban League's annual conference “Empower the Nation” on Friday, July27th, 2012 - 8 pm!
We are pleased to celebrate this special occasion with local community members, visitors to the National Urban League conference and VIP Guests as we honor local non-profit organizations, leaders and champion causes vital to our community.
The event will raise funds to support three local New Orleans non-profits and causes including: Pink House Inc., a mentoring organization that focuses on young girls, Catch 22 founded by veteran New Orleans Saints Deuce McAllister for young boys and The Roots of Music, an organization, offering free musical instruction for children throughout the Greater New Orleans. Also among the distinguished honorees is Actor Lamman Rucker who will be honored for his work with the national organization Tied to Greatness and his organization The Black Gents of Hollywood.
